Quality Control (QC) is an essential step in the allchinabuy spreadsheet shopping process. This beginner tutorial walks you through every step of reviewing your product photos before shipment.

What is QC and Why It Matters

QC photos are detailed images of your actual product taken before shipping. They allow you to verify quality, catch defects, and request replacements if needed. Never skip QC review.

Step 1: Image Checking

Look at every QC photo carefully. Check stitching consistency, logo placement, color accuracy, material texture, and overall construction quality. Zoom in on critical areas.

Step 2: Common Beginner Mistakes

New users often miss uneven stitching, wrong font weights, incorrect tag placement, and subtle color shifts. Compare QC photos against retail reference images whenever possible.

Step 3: Requesting Additional Photos

If standard QC photos are insufficient, request close-ups of specific areas. Most allchinabuy agents will provide additional images for a small fee or free for premium members.

Step 4: GL vs RL Decisions

GL means Green Light (approve for shipping). RL means Red Light (request exchange or refund). When in doubt, ask the community for second opinions on your QC.

Once you GL, decide on packaging preferences. Remove boxes to save weight, add bubble wrap for protection, and verify your shipping address one final time.
